For fifteen years, from Parisian stages to TV sets, Marie led a career as a dancer where music was always her working medium. At 33, determined, creative and daring, she decided to stop everything to start her own business.
In 2008, MELLIPOU was born.
A good idea and a lot of audacity...
About to become a mother, Marie desperately searches for a music box to put her daughter to sleep... But none finds favor in her eyes. She then developed a new product that she found fun: a music box in the shape of a cloud with Mickael Jackson's Thriller as a lullaby! It was daring but the success was immediate: finally a music box that pampers parents' ears! The press is getting excited, the stores want this revolutionary music box and the customers are fans.
A lot has changed since Mellipou was founded. In 2008, the logo and the products were very different!
You must have probably seen the iconic leopard pattern baby bath cape in your baby magazines!
All these insomniacs are more than sensitive to Mellipou's values. The Team acts rigorously in each of their areas in order to act as quickly as possible to satisfy desperate parents.

It is in our showroom that Marie, the designer, imagines the music boxes of tomorrow! The design and manufacturing are French. Yes yes ! Everything is done in Paris itself. Cock-a-doodle Doo !
Every day, our expert seamstresses work hard to make the music box of your dreams.
At Mellipou, we know that France is blessed with exceptional artisanal know-how that we value.
Thus, we favor French or otherwise European origin for our supplies (fabrics, ribbons, labels, etc.). Our fabrics are all Oeko-tex certified and all our products have the CE Standard for toys, so there is no need to worry about the safety of your baby. We are completely transparent!
No overproduction , we only manufacture to order so no waste. And the fibers we use to stuff the products are made from recycled plastic bottles.
